When did you start giving baby a bath?

You can bath from when the cord comes off as long as no infection x

Our baby is 5 days old today and we’re going to do first bath tomorrow. Her cord fell off this morning so going to do bath with just water tomorrow think we did it day 6 with our first too xxx

I didn’t give my daughter a bath until she was 9 days old. As long as they’re clean, I’ve known some people wait as long as 2/3 weeks before bathing them. Do what feels right to you and just make sure you warm their towel while they’re in the water, I found that really helps ❤️

We bathed our son as soon as the rest of his cord fell off (honestly can’t remember when that was!) but will be doing the same with our little girl. I recommend putting a muslin over the tummy in the water to help keep them warm and just using plain water to begin with as their skin is still adjusting to the outside world
