Maternirty allowance
Has anyone applied for maternity allowance? Did you receive the full amount and was it straight forward? X

I applied for it in January for the earliest I could start ‘maternity’ at the middle of Feb. I found it straight forward, received a letter about a week before I was supposed to start my maternity and was given the full amount as I had met the earnings threshold. I have seen you may not hear or receive any until the dates you’ve stated you want your allowance to start xx
They usually send the letter closer to when your leave is meant to start.
