Loneliness / lost

Does anyone else just feel really lonely when little one is asleep/ with their dad? I’m mid 30’s and so are my friends so there all busy with there family lives. When little one isn’t here I just don’t know what to do with my self anymore and have no motivation. Today I haven’t even left the house. Anyone else?

Definitely. House is super quiet without my son there. All my friends live far away. Make for some sad days. Force myself to leave the house at least once when he's gone. Looking for a kickboxing class or something fun to get me out.

I'm sorry that feeling sounds awful. I'll be going through that in the near future and I'm dreading it. I've read it is normal to feel that way as lots of moms do, and you really do have to find the little things you enjoy doing, to push yourself out of that funk. I'm hopeful for you to find your beat and get into a routine. 🤗 id also find a counselor to speak with about your feelings, too.

Don’t feel that everyone is THAT busy. I ring them, I FaceTime my friends. Look at all the mums on this app for example, all the “I’m so lonely, need someone to talk to!” Posts. Yes we’re all mums we have kids we have things to do. But I can do housework and still chat I can brush my teeth and still chat I can cook and chat and I can drive and chat. Lol. If you are bored, call someone. If they truly say they are busy then okay. Usually for me that’s only when they’re at work, otherwise my sisters pick up anytime, my friends pick up anytime. They do still attend to the kids while on call though. Also find a hobby. Something for home and something for out. At home I cook bake garden do my hair (cut, dye) do my nails, put on a foot or face mask. Out, I have salsa which is on every single day of the week just different places different times I pick and choose which ones I can go to, on a night that I have more energy.

I’d find a hobby. Something new to do. Something that would better your life in a productive way. Or a pamper day.
