No. I was pregnant in the baby aisle of a supermarket and saw a mum with a baby in a pram giving himself a bottle and he dropped it and it smashed. From that moment I thought NO WAY 😂 never had an issue using the plastic MAM bottles and have reused them over 2 babies!
Lansinoh glass bottles. Love them and will reuse. We moved from MAM bottles were too much faff with the infinite parts. When I’m making formula I can actually just put hot water without my mind overanalysing plastic and heat interaction. And the tears were great as I was also breastfeeding.
Oh and I found plastic scratches as you wipe it so you do have to replace. Unless you have a steriliser and dryer which I recommend tbh
I bought a new nuk bottle glass set and when sterilising them I found a glass chip in one of them with a chunk taken out. Threw them out that day. So not worth it for how harmful they could potentially be!
Had glass bottles with my first - tommee tippee ones. They were SO heavy they gave me wrist pain. Otherwise great, but something to think about as you will be holding them ALOT 🤣
@Clare I was looking in to the TT ones but being heavy was one of my concerns, just wanted to try and stay away from plastic if I could!
@Laura definitely try the lansinoh ones, they aren’t heavy. Can buy 1 to have a feel and decide
Love them. We used masonbottle. They turn into sippy cups later coz you just swap over the teat to a silicone straw from their website. I got a lot of compliments and mums asking me where I got it coz of the cute baby blue silicone sleeve and coz it’s not sold in shops, most mums don’t know that brand exists.
