Teething hell!

Has anyone found anything that actually helps with teething? My little boy got all his incisors pretty close together and seems to struggle with teething pain for a long time before they actually break and now it’s started again for molars and he is so grumpy all the time! From wake up to bed and disturbed through the night and calpol doesn’t seem to help much - is there actually anything that works? Feel like I have tried all the normal options already 😔

I found anbesol worked really well. You can get it in a gel, but the liquid form is much better. Should be in any pharmacy x

@Caitlin oh ok I have tried the gel but not liquid one will give it a go thanks xx

@Hollie the gel isn’t as good but the concentrate liquid I found worked so hopefully it does for you fingers crossed 🤞🏼 Lasts a while too! You press your clean fingers over the top and tip the bottle upside down, then rub your finger on the gums x

Teething powder and nurofen seems to work for us, my little boy is going through it really bad too

Ibuprofen works better than paracetamol usually. And as someone else said anbesol liquid is good too! Hope the LO gets some relief

Ashton and parsons teething powder has been a god send, only one that actually helps for us even helps her sleep better as she’s not waking up crying as much

My little one hasn’t been soo bad getting her teeth she’s handled it well but I have Anbesol liquid is good I also have the gel but I find now I don’t give her any as she doesn’t like the taste I put a clean flannel on the freezer I soak it with water she loves chewing on it nice and cold for the gums too

We use the liquid ambosol and seems to work really well

I used Ashton's and Parsons teething powder with my little one and it was a lifesaver

Pineapple works with my eldest boy not tried it with the youngest yet
