How to go to the shower and wash hair?

As a single mum with zero help, I used the car seat or high chair in the bathroom with me. I gave snacks, toys and sang songs, sometimes I used a kaleidoscope video on you tube and put it on my phone and he used to love watching the colours and shapes move around, that used to buy me 10mins extra 🤣 if all else failed, I'd have to let him cry while I finished up and it broke my heart but I'd talk to him or carry on singing ect, it's OK to let them cry a little bit, u need to look after urself too 🫶

Mine have just turned 1 & 2, when they were younger I would have them in the bathroom with me in a bouncer or moses basket if asleep & I would keep the curtain half way back. Sometimes I brought in mini highchairs (floor level) with food & popped Ms. Rachel or whatever like enjoy on my phone. Once they learned to sit/stand with good balance, in all honestly i've just let them play at the other side of the bath 🤷🏻♀️ makes life easier for me knowing that I can see what they're up to. Or I wait until like 2am if I really want to wash in my own space when they're in deep sleep. Although very rare as my 1yo is also a sensitive sleeper. It's like she just KNOWS when I'm trying to sneak around 🙃 while my 2yo is the most relaxed child I've ever known & let's me do anything noisy when she's in bed asleep 😄 total opposites!
I put them in the cot whilst I shower with a few toys
At 7 months i was putting her on the bathroom floor ( door shut) with toys and showering quickly as she got bored quickly. I have a glass screen so can always see her. She’s 2.5 now and i still have to shower with her in the bathroom.
Could you maybe have a bath at the same time? (If you have a bath) Sometimes I do it so my little girl has her bath seat one end and I sit the other. I use baby friendly shampoo and body wash and use a cup to swill out my hair
If there is enough space in the bathroom, bring the high chair in and she can snack while you shower (while you supervise). A great smaller option is the portable camping booster seat from kmart - low to the floor, and has a tray so she could have some toys or snack or even a tablet to watch abc kids while you shower.
