I used a midwife clinic (and had a doula) and lovedddddd my experience! It was Kansas City Women's Clinic.
I was with thr certified nurse midwife group and gave birth in a hospital, so it was like the best of both worlds. It is a more holistic experience than going with (most) OBs. They were very thoughtful about keeping interventions to a minimum, but at the same time I had all medical options available in case of any emergencies.
I also had a doula and she was great, though I think I could have advocated for myself since I knew what kind of birth I wanted. But if you have the funds, it's a great asset!
Let me know if you have an questions!
Thank you 🙏🏽 I love that you were in a hospital and still had medical options. I hope I get these opportunities too. Just in case of complications.
