I use it probably every other day and make sure my guy eats lots of high fiber foods but that’s just because he’s irregular and gets constipated easily
Prune puree is good too but only when needed. Their poops are supposed to be a bit more solid now that they're on more solid foods. My pediatrician said to only give prunes when there's signs of discomfort while going number 2 or they haven't gone in a few days
I would stay away from the juice and maybe try incorporating pear puree or pieces of pear once a day. Also, don't worry if baby doesn't seem uncomfortable it's normal. Her digestive system is just adjusting, and she shouldn't have any issues soon.
Dr recommended prune or apple if baby is constipated... however, us personally, have better luck with a white grape.
Puree is better than juice as ot also has fiber. We did pear puree everyday to help with my oldest.
We did organic prune puree when constipated but not regularly. But mostly just made sure water was offered with every meal and snack, and she was eating plenty of stone fruits, grapes and squash. We watched how many baby puffs and starchy snacks she ate, as she was prone to constipation.
Puree prune helped a lot more than prune juice! Also pears worked wonders
I give pear or prune puree around every other day or so. Especially if she's had egg (which constipates!) - if I don't, her poo gets harder and she is visibly in pain when straining.
I use it when my 10 month old gets constipated or when I feel he’s about to, but not daily.
