Probation ending

Not sure if this is the right forum. My probation ended a couple of days ago but I've not been explicitly told I've passed. My last 2 months haven't gone exactly to plan (some factors out of my control such as being the only one left in the team etc) 1- can you assume you've passed probation if you've not been told 2- what protections do I have re my mat leave if I get told I failed probation/got it extended after the official probation end date 3. Can my manager now tell me I'm underperfoming despite "passing" my probation. Surely that's a contradictory statement. And if they thought I was underperforming they should have told me before my probation ended?

If your probation date is gone then you are past your probation and protected accordingly. If you tell your employer you are pregnant, you benefit from the rights and protection associated with it.

Make sure to check your contract re mat leave, I'm conscious in some work places they have parameters e.g. how long you've worked there for in order to provide paid maternity leave. I would write to your line manager to ask about the probation, as typically until you're signed off you wouldn't officially have passed it. Have you had a final probation meeting?

I would reach out to management to say something like, my probation period has passed can I assume I am now out of probation? Or something like that. Push them on it so you've got something clear in writing.
