Oh wow, I’m so glad I’ve read this as I’m having exactly the same problem with my LG 13 nearly 14 weeks old. She’s happy as Larry before bath time, in the bath she’s smiling away and eating her hands. Gets out the bath and lay her on the changing table and it all starts from there lol. I’ve tried adding a heater into the bedroom to make it warmer (so hot I’m sweating) and she still doesn’t like it. Following for some hope that this will pass or some magic trick to stop it lol
I always put LOs towel on the radiator while he has his bath so it's all toasty when it's time to take him out makes it a bit less of a shock
Maybe bath in a morning. I’ve always found my babies get too over stimulated by baths
@Sophie I am so glad it's not just me then lol xx
We used to blow the hairdryer on our baby to keep him warm but would say since he turned 12 weeks old this hasn’t helped either his post bath meltdown!
i think it’s the drop in temperature when you take them out that makes them scream, just make sure the room temperature is comfortable for them and make sure they’re covered in a towel until dry and if you use lotion after a bath make sure you warm it up in your hands before applying and massage it in, i find that helps my LO xx
