Toddler poop

My son is 2 years old. He eats our normal family meals, eats a lot, doesn't drink milk but lots of water. My thought is that his poop should be similar to mine since we eat the same food. But his poops still look like he's on purees. Very soft and mushy, squishing out of the nappy,... I have no idea being a first time mum but I was expecting it to be more like a a turd 😄 Is this a concern or normal? Should I see a GP?

Normal

My little one was toilet trained by that age and his turds were what you would expect (long and turd shaped). But they were quite soft. I imagine that if he did them in a nappy and then sat on them then they would look pretty soft and mushy? Is that a possibility?

@Tess about sitting on it makes sense but even when he doesn't get a chance to sit down, it looks like a bomb has gone off in there, its gone all across the nappy into all corners and defintily not shaped 😄

Following bc same. Sooo mushy. Not solid like ours or what I feel like it should be

My son is now 2.5 and seemingly for no reason (no diet change) his poops are much more solid now. I remember asking his Dr at his 2 year appt if I should be worried they were too soft and she said it’s so much better than being compacted/ constipated 🤷‍♀️
