Working momsšŸ„¹

I left my job when i had my girl two years ago and now i have two kids and im full time stay at home mom but i feel soo bad about the working momsā¤ļø they canā€™t spend time with their babies and missing their first things and everything! Its very hard working full day and thinking what your little one is doing there in the daycare or at grandmas housešŸ’”šŸ˜£

I worked 30+ hours and was in school full time with my older 2 children.. it still breaks my heart!

I'm due back to work in 2 weeks after being on maternity 14months and I'm going to find it so hard but I'm going back part time so I can spend as much time with my little girl as I can x

I definitely feel blessed to be able to stay home

Iā€™m a working mum and I find this post a little patronising, rude and insulting. Some mums choose to go back to work - donā€™t feel bad for them. Some mums have to go back to work for what ever reason (myself) but I will say it works just fine. My child is thriving in an environment that I couldnā€™t offer her myself if I was a stay at home mum. The time we do spend together is pure quality, we sit and play together all day. Then there is the flip to this, that I go to work so have adult time, conversation and get to have some self identity and opportunity to remember myself before I was a mum. I would never dream of saying ā€œI feel sooo bad for mums that stay at homeā€ because itā€™s all personal to each person/family/parent. If youā€™re a working mum, amazing. If you are stay at home mum, amazing also!

@Jess If it donā€™t apply let it fly

Some women worked hard for their career so they chose to go back to work. I wouldn't feel bad when it's a choice, if it is a necessity then and they aren't happy this way then I understand that can be upsetting. X

I feel like in somewhat in the middle a part-time working mum of 2 and have been for the past 11 years. I have 2 sons aged 18 and 1 and most of the childcare is by my parents or his father

Iā€™m a SAHM and I agree with @Jess this post is a little patronizing. I would only feel bad for a working mom if she wanted to be a SAHM but didnā€™t have a choice due to finances. But lots of moms work part or full time and crush it in both their career and motherhood!
