Sooo confused so please help if you know 🙏🏼 Do you accrue annual leave for the full 12 months of maternity or just for the “standard 9 months” ? I am taking the 12 months (3 months unpaid at the end) they contacted me earlier in the month asking if I wanted my holiday pay paid in full or in installments this month as my maternity pay ended last month and was paid end of feb. I asked for it to be fully paid in full as I genuinely thought it would be a few hundred pounds worked out about 3 days holiday as my annual leave starts in January so would be January and some of feb. However I have received the payslip for tomorrow and it’s a lot more than that, worked out probably around 10 days annual leave which would be worked out to when I am due to return end of May. (I have already been paid annual leave for 2024 as I took it all at the beginning so isn’t that) Basically I didn’t think I still accrued holiday during those 3 months and i haven’t even heard from them about if they will accept my requested hours etc so don’t even know if I will go back there! And so at that point I’ll have to pay the holiday pay back? Thank you
