You guys still get health visitors? Mine discharged me while I was i was in the new born phase and as soon as I registered at the GP! Is that normal?
@Nassim you dont get fully discharged from them. They sign you off as such at the newborn phase and then they do reviews right up until they start pre school at certain stages. My 3.5 year old had a development review when he turned 3 and they asked if he was booked in for his pre school boosters etc. The reviews are all in your red book x
How much of the questionnaire should they be able to do though? It’s very in depth!
Ive never seen a health visitor past newborn for any of my three children, is this normal?
@Katie I wouldn't get fixed on it to be honest, they just say that every child develops at their own rate. My HV for my eldest said that they cause more anxiety in parents, which is true x
@Hayley I see your other children are older, maybe thats why. But I have a 3.5 year old and we have been seen at newborn, 9-12 months and then one between 2.5 and 3 x

@Katie it doesn’t matter, they’ll just schedule a review within a couple of months if they’re not achieving something. My daughter wasn’t pulling to stand when I had the review so they rang me a couple of months later to check up. She started doing it a couple of days after the original appointment 😂
@Nassim we don't have them in Hampshire either. Well; where I'm from in Hampshire anyway.
@Nassim I’ve heard so many people say this recently. We have regular checks where we live. When our little one came home, 6 weeks then I think it was 6 months then she’s due to be coming at some point for 9-12 month check. I thought it was the same everywhere xx
Pretty much weight and measure then a development review. Our local health visiting team send out a questionnaire for you to complete (they dont need to be able to do it all!), youll go through it when then at the appointment and then they'll ask if youve got any concerns x
