Constipation

Hi! My baby boy is 11 weeks and suffering with this! He got given lactulose and it’s worked like a charm!! He’s much happier! Xx

@Amelia did they just offer it straight away? I did ask for it but she just didnt want to. my daughter has tried again for a poo today but nothing and looks uncomfortable when going i cant just keep putting a suppository up her bum every day can i surely?

Yeah the did. My poor boy was screaming between burping like he was really distressed. I had phoned a few times before anything was done x

@Amelia oh bless him!! its so frustrating isn’t it its like theyd rather things just naturally happen but it isnt always the case! I think i will call again tomorrow if she doesnt go today x

Yes they thought it was reflux at first which he does suffer with but mildly so told me to try little and often which didn’t work at all. Feel free to message me privately if you need someone to chat to about it x
