Work focused interviews (universal credit)
Hi has anyone been asked to attend one of these work focused appointments with uc. I work part time (16hrs/pw) and my little girl goes to nursery. I called uc and they said that they are not sure why the work coach has set up the appointment for me because my daughter isn’t at school age yet. Has anyone else received this appointment?

It will say on ur account if its phone call or video etc, i wouldn’t stress, literally ask if you’re doing ok and how your wee one is then let you go
I had a commitment review this month, I’m not sure if that was the same but I always work part time and they mentioned on the phone they don’t push people to even go back to work until the child is around three but I’m already in work so I think it was to check if your work status has changed etc. are they aware you are at work, the person I spoke to was under the impression I was still on mat leave (my lo is 2 in August) and just updated my circumstances and said I shouldn’t hear anything else for a while x
