My little girl is also still on formula, she won't touch cows milk unless it's in scrambled egg 🙄
We’ve worked our way down from 6oz formula to 5oz cows milk with 1oz formula, Im just doing it now to finish the box. Going really gradually worked for us
Me! 😅 I was that baby that loved formula and hated cow’s milk on its own. And now…I’m an adult who hates cow’s milk on its own. I think some people just don’t like the way it tastes. It’s nowhere near as sweet as formula. My 14 month old, on the other hand, loves cow’s milk, could drink a pint a day. We switched him cold turkey from formula to milk and he just went right with it. I guess my advice is if they won’t do cow’s milk, they can stay on formula or follow-on, it’s better than them not having anything.
Yes same
My little one won't drink cows milk but was happy to wean off formula in favour of more food , so we just provide plenty calcium rich foods through the day
Try Filtered cows milk t eh goats milk 🤷🏾♀️ do 5050 then reduce formula in ounces
My boy is also on formula tub 1 still at 15 months old x
We did a gradual change by swapping oz’s out and she now takes cows milk fine. Did the same for my eldest but as soon as it was 100% cows milk she refused it. I didn’t offer any milk from then, she didn’t need it so I just upped the yoghurt/cheese intake during the day.
How many oz do they take? Try doing 3/4 formula 1/4 cows milk, eg 6oz formula 2oz cows milk for an 8oz bottle. Then slowly increase after a few days (just add an extra ounce of cows milk and one less ounce formula)
I started my 14 month old at 12pm this and he wouldn’t take to it. The last 2 weeks I have been sneaking it in. Started off 20% cows milk and 80% formula. Then after few days kept upping it. We are now on 80% and this morning gave him 100% cows milk and he drank it all. He wasn’t ready in Jan but definitely was at 14 months. I also put it on his cereal so very very slowly introduced it. And it worked. Was recommended by nursury this way
