Bladder issues 😓

Hey Mamas? I guess I just kinda assumed having a c-section I wouldn’t have to deal with this but since I did attempt a vaginal delivery, that’s probably why. Anyone else dealing with bad urgency? Like as soon as you gotta go, it’s like the pressure goes from zero to 100 in minutes? I feel like I wanna cry when I feel SO full and like I just HAVE to get it out….. but I gotta wait. And it isn’t even that long but feels like a lifetime when you feel like you are holding back an ocean with just your urethra. I was in tears and crying to my friend begging her to hurry up and find somewhere to park the car cause I HAD to pee. Like I HAD to let it out cause i honestly thought my bladder was going to explode. It’s not even pain, it’s just so much pressure. The pressure is becoming unbearable each time I have to hold it. Does any one else get that “my bladder is going to explode” feeling when you have no choice but to wait? Any tips/tricks to hold it?

You might have an UTI honestly. When I got an UTI I didn’t have pain but a lot of urges to pee and stuff . Maybe just get that checked!

It sounds like an uti to me also. Go and get checked. And even if is not an uti try to make an appointment and speak to your doctor about it.

Hi girl. This does sounds more like a UTI but if it's not, it's more than likely a pelvic floor issue, which can come about from just pregnancy alone and truly isn't dependent on the kind of delivery you had. I would suggest going to your GP and getting tested for a UTI and getting a referral for pelvic floor PT

I had a emergency c c-cection and I got a uti I was in so much pain from my scar I didn't realise I had one and I had the same wee problem as u it's realy common especially if u had an emergency one beacuse evrthing is so rushed so the catheter gives alot of people utis

I wouldn’t say it’s a UTI, because that comes a burning sensation when you do pee, and when you pee it’s lil amounts at a time…. I’d say you have a weak pelvic floor. I would do PF exercises- mums that do this to tone their core and get rid of the “mum pouch” the fupa, indirectly in turn get a strong pelvic floor too, because it works that whole front groin and pelvic area. I didn’t have a Csec, I’ve had 3 vaginals, and I can hold my pee for pretty long but I worked on my core while pregnant and as soon as I healed again my main goal was getting rid of the mum tum but like I said it helps with strengthening pelvic floor as well. Pregnancy weakens our core tremendously in turn weakening the PF so PP we need to build those muscles back up, doing core exercises

@Kellie not every UTI comes with frequency or pain with urination. I had chronic UTIs for years and the only symptom I ever had was urgency, like OP describes. Not saying that's absolutely what it is, but it's definitely a possibility even without the symptoms you listed.

@MK maybe. She needs to get checked to rule it out.
