I'm doing annual leave from 14th April and the starting mat leave 12th may - 2 weeks before my due date. I know its risky as its first baby but I do so much travelling and hotel stays... can't be that far from home.
I’m going in annual leave at 33 weeks then starting maternity at 39 (hopefully the week I have my c section) Don’t feel guilty you still earn you leave over Maternity so will get some to tack on the end.
i start in 3 weeks, i work in retail so im on my feet for 6/7 hours and i’m just so done with it. i did plan on working until at least 36 weeks as i had to go back work when my first was only 8 months which i hated, but if i have to work any longer im gonna quit on the spot😂
Going at 32 weeks, so next Tuesday 😅
Going at 32weeks 5days so in 11 days
I’m working until 37+5. With my first I did the same. It was hard but I’m so glad I did it because it meant I got more time after he was born
I’m going on annual leave at 34 weeks, taking Mat leave in due date 17th May. Wanted as much time ahead of baby to relax and focus on my health and preparation. Commuting for work and being on my feet all day is already taking a toll
I’m taking annual leave from 36 weeks and then mat leave starts for me at 38 weeks. No idea how I’m going to last another 5 weeks though 😂
Working to the very last day 38+5. Has my c section booked for 39+2. My second time and i fully work from home from 36 weeks so i think it would be fine and it would maximise my mat leave and shared parental leave for my husband
Will take annual leave from 34 weeks, using my AL of 2025 and Mat leave from w/c 28th of April
I started this week, work was just getting too much (an hour commute each way) 🥱 Nesting is well & truly keeping me busy as well as a toddler 😂👶🏼 Have you got any annual leave that’s been accrued? That goes towards topping up maternity leave 🫶🏻
