Pregnancy announcement ideas

With one set of grandparents I just video chatted them, and I told them I can’t wait to see them soon but their anniversary gift was on back order and they were like “oh that’s fine 50 years isn’t a big deal” and then I said “Well, it might be PINK or BLUE I don’t know yet” and showed the sonogram. They cried and rejoiced and prayed out the video chat that the baby stays healthy. With my aunts, uncles, and cousins I just texted them a pic of the sonogram and said “🩷 or 💙 we have NO CLUE, Baby K is on the way!” My other grandma (who lives not too far) we visited her and handed her a HBD great grandma card with the same rhyme and once she pieced it together (she loves puzzles and tricky words games like that) she rejoiced and cried and sang PRAISE JESUS! We listened to the heartbeat video on my phone and I showed her the pics on my phone. I hope this helps! Congrats mama!!

My sister I printed out a PDF of Taylor swift and the card said “may your next era be grand!” She opened it and it said “welcome to your auntie era 🫶🏻” she giggled and was confused to I showed her the sonogram I had in my back pocket. My boyfriend and I couldn’t break the news cutely to our parents since it was out of wedlock and I was scared but happy and nauseous most of the time 😂😅

The riddle idea is fun! Especially if you or your partners side LOVES them as much as mine! I saw a reel that a pregnant woman was announcing her pregnancy with this riddle “what does a baker and I have in common” and the answer was a “bun in the oven!” I think that’s so cute too! I think whatever riddle you choose will just be perfect! I kinda stole the riddle off of Pinterest 😂😅🤷🏼‍♀️

And yes! I’m so glad it ended up that way! And I was far along enough to feel comfortable telling my grandmother on her 79th birthday! I was at the 8 week mark!
