Forgot to say I made the cake baby friendly, no sugar, apple puree and maple syrup for sweetening, for the frosting I used coconut milk whisked with vanilla essence and a teaspoon of icing sugar
We are Getting a proper cake for our little one, only 1 once 🤣 a little bit of cake isn’t going to harm him it’s not like we will let him sit there and eat the whole lot
Just went with proper cake for my eldest, he wasn't bothered by it at all 😂

I did my own cake smash photoshoot at home (hes 1 in 2 weeks, he was born 5 weeks early) I trialled the cake as i want to make his first birthday cake for his party. Ordered a white photo back drop and birthday banner/crown and the photos came out so good! Also saved myself £250
