-switch to glass pyrex containers instead of plastic which leach stuff and last YEARS. I’m still using my same Pyrex from college and have just replaced lids when they wear out -use an instapot to make homemade yogurt (it’s easy and cheap) -https://www.pressurecookrecipes.com/instant-pot-yogurt/ -use instant pot to cook dried beans (much cheaper than store bought cans) -save your bacon fat to cook in -switch to bone-in skin on chicken thighs instead of breasts. The bones can be used to make broth with veggie scraps. The skins can be cooked to yield chicken oil which can be used instead of butter or oil to cook in and really ups the flavor of chicken dishes. -make a double batch of easily freezable meals like soups and freeze on batch for an easy meal when tired

So I use : Reusable diapers and cloth wipes Reusable period products - period undies and cup. A $5 bidet spray on shein with cloth wipes can eliminate the expense of toilet paper Kitchen microfibre cloths for cleaning, Terry towels for spills and unpaper towels as napkins (we don’t buy paper towels) Norwex mop w washable mop heads (no one-use disposable mop heads) Reusable refillable baby pouches for his yogurt- I buy a big tub for myself and refill for him Donor milk instead of formula if you can’t BF Reusable makeup rounds used w micellar (no makeup wipes) Reusable breast pads. And yes beans, buy packs of beans and soak overnight instead of buying canned. I make lots of things from scratch like condensed milk, Mayo bbq sauce dips etc. I juice everything fruit and veggies starting to go soft so inedible but not totally wasted. Like celery starting to go soft, I’ll juice it and drink it when I can’t cook w it.
