This must be really tough for you, but I would probably listen to your HV as they specialise in babies. Are you able to maybe get a 3rd opinion? Is baby OK what's the issues you're facing when feeding?

They're basically all the same tbh so it shouldn't really do any harm x

It’s not harmful - maybe a little unsettling if anything. We’ve been on 4 different ones due to CMPA.

@Becky the gp think she might have cows milk allergy but hv says is just colic but i don't think is colic, she wants milk but she cries a lot and spits it all out

@Emily yes they think it might be the same case with my baby

Doesn't sound like colic my baby had colic but never spat milk out I hope that you can get to the bottom of it, it must be so hard for you

@Becky yes is really tricky because i also don't want to keep changing formula

I would listen to your GP, all formulas in the UK have to have the same ingredients in them. You can also wean onto a new formula (half old formula half new formula) so it’s not too unsettling. If it’s a cows milk allergy though, you should be able to do a straight switch

If you speak to other mums most will tell you health visitors are useless. Health visitors are nurses and all advise contradicting things. GPs are doctors. I would listen to the doctor
