You will find the nappies are dry in the morning or she will not want them. I’d get some plastic sheets just incase so you are ready. Also avoid stuff like milk and blackcurrant at bedtime.
Limit fluid intake closer to bedtime. I've used puppy pads under a towel on top of her bed sheet. Letting my child sleep without bottoms. Monitoring when in the nighttime she's likely to pee. My child is 2.5 years old and is daytime and nighttime potty trained-- which is a huge accomplishment for us! You gotta teach the child bladder control at an early age. I'd recommend using some books as a resource. 🤗
My daughter turn 5 next Friday & we have only just started having a couple of dry nights. It’s also hormonal & not trained! Don’t worry about it
Cut out drinks after a certain time, Wee before bed and wee in morning first thing
Our daughter was day potty trained at 27 months old and we kept nappies on at night- then 2 months later she naturally woke up multiple nights in a row with a dry nappy so we took the plunge and got rid. We then limited water 1-2hrs before bedtime- of course we have the odd accident but generally now great!
Most people suggest not to worry about bed time because it’s a hormone thing that naturally they will just learn to stay dry. I know some kids who stayed dry quite quick after potty training and others who took a few years. My son has been potty trained for about 6 months now but still wet overnight. Best practice would be to make sure they wee before bed and as soon as they wake up. When she wakes up with a dry nappy a few nights in a row that’s probs the best indicator to trial no nappy.
