Advise needed Baby moisturiser

Can you put baby moisturiser on newborn (3 weeks old) if you’ve had the bottle over 12 months but it is unopened?

Doctors recommend putting aquaphor or Vaseline. If you really want to a lotion, go with something that in unscented. Aveeno is good.

I have child’s farm baby moisturiser that’s unopened but it’s more then 12 months old. It was given to me as a freebie as part of my job role. I just don’t know if I can use it or not given the symbol on the back say 12m

The symbol is 12m once open. There is probably a best before date somewhere too

I would think it's fine to use as long as it's unscented and has been stored away from direct sunlight. Definitely check is it had anything weird in the moisturizer before you put it in your lo.

Exactly! Fragrance-free everything is ideal! I use an app called “Yuka” where you can scan or search for products and it tells you a lot of information about the chemicals in it.. that way you know if it can potentially be an endocrine disruptor, allergen, etc. This app gives all products a rating and tells you why it has such rating with a lot of simple information. And is not only for cosmetic use, they also have information on food, etc. It has prevented me from spending money on products that “seem” good but at the end of the day may not be the best option. For my baby I have used a brand called Pipette, you can find it on Target and sometimes Amazon, it’s really good!. Mustella is another good one, the app will tell you many options
