Am I overreacting?

My daughter has a cousin a similar age to her. Shortly after my daughter was born and we announced her name, the other couple announced they’d chosen their unborn babies name and it was basically the same as my daughters. I know they did it for a reaction (long story but there’s a lot of history) so I didn’t say anything. I’ve since found out they don’t just have basically the same first name but the same middle name too. There is no family connection to the name they just wanted to use it. Would this annoy you or is it just me?
