Travel pushchairs reccos

Would love to know which travel pushchairs you’d recommend for 4+ month old. Prefer those that are likely to be approved for overhead compartment and easy to fold single handedly please

Bugaboo Butterfly fan here! Same price bracket as the yoyo but I personally preferred the feel of pushing the butterfly around.

We used the Babyzen Yoyo 2 with the newborn pack (so the baby can lie flat!) it is super convenient and easy to navigate. She falls asleep in it comfortably and we don’t need to worry about moving as she’s flat We actually bought ours second hand so the cost was as prohibitive as it could have been!

@Sophie I’ve heard good things for bugaboo! Did you find it was okay in overhead compartments when flying short haul as well?

@Vithy oo thanks! Was this one alright for using in overhead when flying short haul flights as well?

@Jas I'm yet to take mine on the plane (holiday later this year) but I got a free backpack carry case with it via John Lewis (not sure if it's still on offer) and it is defo cabin approved so should fit most overhead lockers. It's smaller than my suitcase I've taken on Ryanair and easyjet short haul so I don't imagine an issue!! It's also mega light, I'd have no problem lifting it up. It was recommended to me by a few mums that have flown with it.

We have the Joolz aer it’s amazing, used it for my 4 month old on holiday can go in overhead locked and lays flat. My 3 year old also fits in it and is super lightweight! Pricey but will last years definitely worth it! X

@Jas yes, we’re currently in Tenerife and taking on the yoyo was no problem at all

Another vote for the joolz aer! It’s so lightweight. We use it more than our normal pram now as it’s so much easier to get it out/fold it away x

I’m just wondering how you guys dealt with needing a car seat when travelling via taxi? Do you take a car seat with you as well as the travel push chair? Last time I checked the car seat with luggage and took our push chair with the bassinet to the gate they walked it on from there. But the travel strollers seem so much easier just worried about needing a taxi from the airport to our hotel with baby.

We have the silver cross clic, it lies completely flat for naps/newborns and fits in the cabin

We just got the Nuna Trvl Lx and it’s amazing. Folds and opens with one hand, clicks into place when closed and can even be carried over the shoulder with a strap. I’m not sure if it fits overhead tho.

I have the Joie Pact Pram and I also have the Yoyo Zen. The yoyo zen is very compact much more than most other travel prams. I recommend the yo-yo especially if it’s for your first born you will get lots of use from it. The Joie pact I bought for the grandparents who love how big the basket is. Yoyo comes with lots of accessories however the seat does lie the child back, at a bit of an angle, which isn’t an issue. I used the yoyo until my eldest was 4.
