Bath time on holiday

We're heading away on holiday to Italy in a few weeks with our 19 month old. At the moment we do bath time every night as part of our bedtime routine but I don't think we'll have access to a bath in our accommodation. We have tried him in the shower before and he hated it. Any suggestions please?

When we went on holiday, we took a little inflatable paddling pool that we filled from the shower. Also handy to take to the beach or by the pool too! Think we bought ours from Shein for a few pounds.

@Stephanie that's such a good idea

Ah great idea thanks!

When we don't have a bath available we just do a flannel wash or shower (you've said yours doesn't like shower). Basically simulate bath time as much as we can with teeth brushing and a body wash of some form. Then usual milk and sleepies.

Honestly on holiday you just have to make do. I’ve taken both of mine away at various ages and if we’ve only had a shower which is 90% of the time we’ve just had to rinse them down and deal with the tears! As long as they’ve been rinsed of suncream/dirt they’ll be fine!!
