@Stephanie yes i agree w you and surprised when the dr said its fine even if she swallowes it!!!! Does coconut oil help prevent cavities etc? Any specific brand your using
Been using Dr. Bronners toothpaste (fluoride free) and my 4 year olds teeth are fine without the fluoride. Just be consistent with brushing and flossing!
I use Jack N’ Jill toothpaste
I use Tom's with fluoride. There are fruity flavors too.
I use Orajel toothpaste and it doesn't have fluoride. I don't want my baby swallowing fluoride.
@linda, I actually use coconut oil on my own teeth as well - I haven’t had a cavity in over 7 years since I made this switch :) I use coconut oil from Whole Foods, any of the brands are good but just make sure it’s pure coconut oil with no other additives
My baby turned 1 at the beginning of March
I use baking soda to clean my one yr old 4 teeth and tongue. Baking soda toothpaste exists y’all
@Stephanie Actually fluoride toothpaste is the only thing you can use on a toddlers teeth. Coconut oil doesn't clean and when the teeth don't get clean cavities start. Don't come on here reccomending things that's are not ok
@Abby we are allowed to have different opinions! Whatever works for you and your little one 🫶🏻 just sharing what works for me and mine :)
Honestly, I use coconut oil, fluoride toothpaste is terrible, a lot of other toothpaste have a lot of toxic chemicals in them too
