Although you shouldn’t ‘wait’ to get tested- a lot of STDs don’t tend to show up until 2 weeks after being caught. I’d ask your healthcare professional for a test now and then a test again after 2 weeks!
Some stis can stay dormant for years and won't always show up on a test , but getting tested as soon as possible or the 1st sign of something being off is better incase it's just an sti so you can get meds to get rid of it but do make him also get one done with you, then again in 2 weeks

My ex literally violated me i spent Christmas with him and we were fine around after my birthday he kept accusing that i was cheating and that i felt funny and “loose” all of a sudden, i catch my period so i ignored him cause i knew i didnt cheat at all Ive spent all my time with him (my bad if tmi )but we were doing anal a smell came a few days later hes complaining about eating me out so then i checked it off as bv hes pushing me to get get tested real bad which i found weird but i was going to anyway because it was time i take blood and swab tests at my Urgent caree, so i go get tested they let me know it was bv i get a gel smell goes away bv goes away, he was complaining about itching on his but not really saying nothing about it. So few days later they call me tell me i have chlamydia . First time I’ve fallen off of being routinely tested even with partners & look smh . 🤦🏻♀️ i say all that just go to be on safe side fuck that im glad i got blood not just pee

@Yanise because you never know how long something has been in your system. Just like Syphillis, you could be asymptomatic for months and it gets worse the longer you go untreated. It can get into you spinal cord. Regardless of a “window”, you should always go get tested immediately when you start noticing chances in your body, pH balance, or behavior.
@Milan exactly, herpes chlamydia, syphillis and gonorrhea are asymptomatic infections and not only are they not stds but there Sti’s , you’ll obviously feel stds not matter what, ur not gonna feel sti’s most of the time

@Yanise …..if you get a blood test it shows up immediately. CDC told us masks were gonna prevent us from getting COVID and yet we went through a whole pandemic . Idc what the CDC says, listen to your body. She’s clearly having changes in her pH so it’s CLEARLY detectable if it is something.

@Yanise girl because you can still know something is wrong even when you’re asymptomatic? Are you not in tune with your body? Asymptomatic means you aren’t having breakouts, or any of the major symptoms. You can MENTALLY not feel right and know something isn’t right with your body. How old are you? Because clearly you’re young asf and think just because something you read on the internet is how you’re supposed to treat YOURSELF. A lot of that stuff is to get you to wait UNTIL shit gets worse so you can be on MORE medication so pharmaceuticals can make more money off of tests and medication.

@Yanise I said what I said. I don’t go around fucking,especially raw actually so I don’t have to worry about catching something. I know how to use protection. I’m far from dumb. Literally two people is telling your slow ass that you can get blood tested and it comes back quicker than urine tests does. Infection gets into your blood stream IMMEDIATELY. Go take a medical class then come back and try to fuss with me little girl.

Girl you should never “wait” to get tested. It’s probably just a yeast infection if you’re just itchy though. Go get tested asap.
