I mean I wouldn’t look twice at a half dressed baby in the heat but they are some WEIRD WEIRD people in this world and you’ve got to protect your children. So absolutely not
Big no for me. Fully clothed. Idc how old.
@Emilie I could under a shirt and a diaper but this was just in a diaper
Not that’s not cool I think they should at least have a romper on or a T-shirt and shorts
Idk if I wouldn’t go somewhere in my underwear he isn’t going in just his diaper.
Yea T-shirt and diaper but we use cloth, it’s printed, it’s bright, it’s cute. Looks like a swim diaper or girls bloomers. If I was just using disposables then no way. I had a friend that took her girl out in just a cloth diaper and T-shirt too, they were cloth bum buddies lol, real cute. I would not ever in just a disposable coz you’re also risking blowouts. We don’t get blowouts in cloth so that’s never been an issue
Hello no, and 70 isn't hot enough for it either. Maybe her baby refused to dress and she said F it 🤷
😬 my son was in the grocery store in a sweatshirt and diaper yesterday. He pees a lot and we had a 40 minute drive to the store and he leaked all over his sweatpants. We normally take him a spare change of clothes but my husband grabbed the diaper bag and forgot to check for a spare outfit. We bought him a pair of pants to wear out of the store and home, but I felt soooo awkward with him pantless in the store, I can't imagine if he wasn't wearing a shirt too 🤦🏻♀️
@Melissa that's what I'm thinking too, baby refusing any of Mom's help but mom still needs to go to the store. Sometimes it's not worth the fight 😭
My niece hates shoes and takes them off whenever possible.. it’s also hot in australia so it’s normal to see kids in just a diaper or diaper and nappy wrap or totally nude at the beach. TBH dress your own baby the way you want to and is comfy for them. You have no idea what that mum went through getting to the store or if the baby has autism and texture issues etc… so be gentle on other mums.
i was this mom w my first. as a ftm i didn’t pack extra clothes in my diaper bag (rookie mistake) and we went on a flight he spit up EVERYWHERE and it stunk so bad i had no extra clothes for either of us but i couldn’t keep him in those so he was in a diaper pretty much the entire flight and through the airport until i got our checked bag and could get him clothes. i never judge bc i made mistakes and learned from them before too! but i could tell by the looks i was getting that people were judging me HARD lol
There’s other ways to keep Your baby cool. They need their clothes on, they deserve to have dignity and to be protected from predators. To look cared for and loved and important.
Like a baby in a onsie without pants is one thing when it's hot but 70 isn't anywhere near hot enough for that. My daughter fell in a creek at a park the other day and all I had was an extra pair of her underwear in the car, and she rode home in just that. But we didn't make any stops
I would never. Idc what the weather is. Just a diaper is unacceptable. Maybe something crazy happened like he pooped all over his outfit or fell in muds and she didn’t have a spare outfit cause to just go out of the house like that seems very odd.

I left my youngest panties at a football game the other day after a diaper change. I couldn’t do it and put them on about 10 minutes later when she wasn’t fighting so bad. I felt like everyone was judging me 😂
I would let my kids go with just a diaper in the yard but not to the grocery store. I grew up in wv and it was very common to see babies out in diapers but its not for me.
I was the same thing at a park recently. The dad was with the baby. He was about 18 months, with no shoes and black feet. Mom or dad, there's no excuse.
@Jess Well said ❣️
The least my son ever wore as a baby was a onesie and socks and I had skipped the shorts that day but he was a newborn and we were just going into a restaurant . I’d never take him in public in just a diaper tho with my luck he’d have had a blowout 😅.
Only a couple of times due to blowouts and not having extra clothes. I have let my son run around the front yard without a shirt, with pants, of course. Because it's get 100⁰+ here during the summer.
@Cheyann that’s different. Things happen, we forget things. This sounds like this baby isn’t well taken care of.
@Carly it's just one instance though. Kids get dirty and like you said things get forgotten. The mom probably forgot something or really needed to get something from the store and baby protested clothes and getting cleaned up and she was just trying to make a quick trip. I'm sure the baby got a bath once home or cleaned up. That's my hope
I would never, my girl always had clothes. A baby without shoes tho, I've done that 😅
At home is another story but out in public is shameful. Kids & babies need clothes to one for privacy & protection. It’s really shows how uncaring if you can’t take two seconds to put some shorts on your baby. I get it’s getting hot but there’s clothes for warm weather to
@Shatoria one time my toddler was giving me hell and we were late for a doctors appointment and I literally grab his clothes and dressed him in the parking lot of the doctors office and I felt so bad! But today I was staring hard
