Good gifts for someone with Alzheimer’s?
It’s my grannies birthday and I’d like to buy her something but unfortunately she has quite advanced Alzheimer’s.

I work in long term care. We use fidget aprons, floor puzzles (on tables) out dated magazines (reminiscing), toddler matching games. Easy colouring (one page is for colouring and the other has a coloured guide)
Maybe a photo memory book of different family members and loved places, pets, etc
A way to play her favorite songs. Music is very beneficial for dementia patients. Also simple coloring books of her hands are able to hold crayons (you can get jumbo ones or ones for toddlers that are easier to hold)

Happy birthday to your granny. I've heard that baby dolls are popular in care facilities for people with Alzheimer's. Do you think she'd like something like that?
