That’s quite normal. If baby is at birth weight when they come then they won’t usually see you again till around 9-12 months
I’ve seen mine about 3-4 times but thats because my baby had a big head and i have postnatal depression xx
I had this conversation with my health visitor as I seem to see mine every couple of weeks and have seen this post a few times. It’s normal to only see them every few months unless you are put on enhanced visits (which I was and didn’t know)
I’ve seen mine quite a few times, but I have anxiety & depression and we had a traumatic birth x
So I’m assuming if they think everything is okay then they don’t book in any visits?
@Jade yes, you should just get the standard 9-12 month review but some areas are doing them earlier than others, depends where you live. Do you go to a self weigh in clinic occasionally? If there were any weight issues they would be picked up there and you can obviously call your HV if you have any concerns.
Normally get a letter around 9 months to go to a children's centre for their review. But depends where you live x
Depends where you live and by case I think, some people might need them more and that’s ok. I saw shortly after birth then we’ve got 9-12 month review coming up
It depends on your NHS trust I think. I haven’t seen anyone since baby was 6 weeks old. We’ve just had a letter this week for a 10 month check. My first baby was born in 2021 and we didn’t see anyone from the 6 week check up until he was 2.5 as our trust weren’t doing the 10 month checks due to Covid, but I know friends in other areas with similar aged kids had theirs x
I currently see mine every two weeks and when she was born it was every week till she was like 3 months and she’s 9 months now
We booked in the health reviews which are based in children centres. We had to call the HV line and arrange it ourselves
