Felling Rubbish

Had my RSV jab on Tuesday and been feeling rubbish since then. Cough, blocked nose, green mucus, headache, achy body & just feeling tired. Tried calling GP but not been able to get an appointment (typical really) and not sure if I should get checked out, I’m 33 weeks. Baby is moving as normal and everything at my scan & appointment was fine on Tuesday. Been drinking honey & lemon but the heartburn is real lol. Just overthinking maybe as it’s my first baby and don’t want to do anything to cause harm to him. TIA x

Ring triage and see what they think maybe?

It’s probably just a viral cold- there’s loads going round. As long as baby is moving as normal they’ll be fine. If you have any concerns about baby’s movement call triage

Green mucus usually indicates a bacterial infection. Sometimes it can clear on its own, but could also need antibiotics to get rid of it.

Also I found lemon does not help with heartburn unfortunately. So acidic

It’s just coincidence, no vaccines given in pregnancy are live so can’t make you sick. Sounds like you’ve just picked up a common cold. Keep hydrated and if you feel any worse book an appointment with your gp. Xx

Yeah that's got nothing to do with the vaccine. You just picked up a cold. It's not a live vaccine. It can cause mild side effects but not a cold. Keep hydrated and rest up 👍🏻
