Didn’t get one in my first and wished I had the whole time, if you are planning to breast feed I do think it makes a difference. Getting in a good comfy position for breastfeeding is huge!!
I also got one on facebook. It's a nursing chair so it glides but also has a lock on it so can use normally.
I’m getting a rocking chair not necessarily a nursing chair as they are so bulky
It's nice to have padded arms and lock it, makes it much easier to get up.

We didn’t get one because we are only in a 2 bed so we put a single bed in the room for when we have family/guests. We would use the bed but I always wished I had a chair for comfort.
