We ran out of kids toothpaste without realising so we just used adult toothpaste, I thought they’d object but they didn’t bat an eyelid so we just use adult toothpaste now. The dentist did actually tell us we should get them used to it anyway
We went on to the 3+ and my lil boy had melt downs so I've been mixing them on the toothbrush. Xxx
On 0-2 until he turns 3.
0-2 is for 0-2 years, once 3 they should move up to 3-5 toothpaste until 6 etc. 🙂 it’s to do with two things, firstly the fluoride content is correct for their age range and stage of teeth, and secondly, 0-2 toothpaste doesn’t have any of the stuff that makes toothpaste foam in your mouth in it, so that it is safe to swallow as they know babies arnt going to spit. 3-5 then has a little bit in as they learn to spit and so it goes on 🙂 Hope that helps 🙂
Thanks all, I did google and saw others were 3 so assumed to carry on but didn’t want to be doing it wrong!
I always get confused by 0-2 or under 2 areas as to whether it includes 2 year olds haha so don't worry.
We still use this one or the Colgate alternative to this one x
I use this one you said 0-2. Then when 3 I will switch x
I still use 0-2 toothpaste as the others I've seen in the shop say 3+ and he's not yet 3
