Health visitors

Mine just told me to go to the drop in clinics every month to get baby weighed however you can contact them at any time if you have any conerns so maybe that’s what it is

I think you have them when you’ve first given birth, then 6-8 weeks and then again at 16 weeks and then 26 weeks. But then some trusts have extras in between xx

Depends on the trust and if your baby needs extra attention. Ours does visits at 5 days, two weeks, and then at 6-8 weeks

We only had them visit at 10 days and then 5 weeks. I see them at the weigh in clinics though

I saw mine at 2 4 6 10 and I’m seeing her again at 14 weeks my clinic doesn’t have weekly weight checks or anything though x

I saw mine at 4 weeks and 8 weeks and usually that would be it unless I contacted her, she told me she thought I was anxious so booked me another appointment 🤦🏻‍♀️ I am just as anxious as any first time mum ffs! 😏

I have a local breastfeeding group where HV weigh my baby if wanted so I do go to that every 2 weeks, but that's my choice x

I seen our HV at weekly intervals from LO was 2 weeks until 8 weeks, then once at 10 weeks and 12 weeks - I think that it then moves to monthly for a short time before the visits get less frequent. Visits can be requested in addition to these however we don’t have any clinics etc. to visit. We are with a trust in Scotland for reference.

I had an appointment at 12 days, 6 weeks and then 12to 16 weeks as routine. Weve had extra ones inbetween though due to my babies health issues. X
