Lactose intolerance

Hey there mamas, I’m having a hard time switching my baby from formula to whole milk, I know I don’t really have to, and honestly I didn’t want to give her any milk, she does eat yogurt, cheese and other stuff but I tried to take the morning and night formula bottle (the last left) and she isn’t adjusting well, so I wanted to see what milk are u giving to your LO ? I’ve tried regular and lactose free milk from horizon but she gets SUPER fussy and cries a lot before bed plus now she doesn’t like the taste I guess cuz she wont even try 😭 TIA

It happened to me a few weeks ago. It ended up being his teeth. He wouldn’t even try to grab his bottle, he would just cry… a lot. But then, he grabbed the bottle again without crying and since then we’ve been slowly transitioning to whole milk. Good luck!

My son 1 he drinks reduced fat milk 2 percent anything else he can't have makes him sick with water

My baby used to drink 8oz of formula. So when he turned 1 I switched him gradually to whole milk. I started off mixing 1 oz of whole milk and 7oz of formula for 2 days. When I saw he had no reaction, then I would increase the oz of the whole milk. So then I would mix 2oz of whole milk, 6oz of formula. So every 2 days, I would increase the whole milk oz, until eventually it became 8oz of whole milk. This worked for my little one since it was a slower transitioned and also helped taste wise. I would also heat up the milk to resemble his formula bottle.

@Karina oh I wish it was that, she got no signs that she’s teething, and we’ve been trying for about a month and she isn’t doing well. But tks !

@Brittaney oh boy that’s rough, I’ll try other alternatives cuz I want her to have the fat but if I can’t find anything I’ll sure give that a shot.

My son is also not adjusting well to whole milk. He cries a lot and is super clingy, he gets constipated which leads to bloody stools. We switched to toddler formula and he is fine now
