@Marina ah I havent had my mat b1 yet but I can sort that beforehand
I flew with TUI at 20 weeks pregnant, I was told I'd need a fit to fly from doctors. I questioned them on this as their website stipulates that it's needed when 28+ weeks, they insisted I had one and if asked at the gate before boarding and didn't have one, I wouldn't be able to board 🤷‍♀️x
I was stopped twice by BA and Qatar at 24w and 31w. They say it’s not legal but it’s not worth the risk personally to miss out on that trip. Remember that check in staff overseas are contractors to the airline, they dgaf and also don’t know most of the actual rules. It’s just something that makes it a lot easier if you have it in advance xx
Check with the airline, some of them require a fit to fly from week 26, others from 27 or 28 but depends how many weeks you will be on your return flight as well. I guess it depends how big you look they will ask you or not but they can deny you boarding if you don't have any pregnancy notes stating your due date
Every airline has a different policy so check yours most are 28 weeks but they do differ quite widely.

You do not need it if you are below 28 wk. Otherwise, you can use your mat b1
