Car recommendations please!

I’m pregnant with my second, and we’ll need a car that can fit a front facing seat, an infant/rear facing seat, and an adult in the back row. We’re not interested in going for a 3 row minivan/SUV at this time. Does anyone have any suggestions?

To fit 3 passengers safely in a second row you need a minivan, full size SUV like Expedition/Suburban/Wagoneer/Yukon, or a full size truck. Anything smaller than those will be too small side to side. I have a 2022 Honda CRV and it doesn't safely fit an adult, forward facing seat, and an infant seat. Check out the Car Mom's video tours of vehicles on YouTube or her website.

Just a suggestion, but the type of car seat also helps. I have a Graco slim fit and you can easily fit multiple in a row and I have a Rav4

You’re gunna need a mini van if you need to fit an adult back there too.

You need to go for a slim fit car seats and the car would be your choice

@Kyra which year RAV4 do you have? In the manual of some years they actually prohibited the use of all three seats at the same time when using car seats

@Ashlee 2013. I don't have 3 kids though haha but just by looking at it, it's very doable. Not suggesting you should if it's prohibited though

I was looking at the most recent design of the CRV and the Honda Passport- people seem to comfortably fit 3 across for car seats, so I think it could work with slim car seats.

@Kyra yes it would be prohibited to use both the center and driver's side seats at the same time in the 2013 through 2015 models
