@Rema i went to lakeland ob and they needed proof
Why didn’t the ob office just test you
I go to women’s care and I have never had to do that either
Maybe it’s because of your insurance? I remember with my son the ladies in the office were trying to see if I need to see primary to confirm pregnancy but they said no they can just confirm it and send to the insurance.
@Vida I plan on calling tomorrow but it would obviously be when im 8 weeks which is fine. Maybe cause with my last pregnancy it was my first
Dr, Schwartz best ob you’ll meet !!
This post is old so I hope you have found a doctor. But in case you haven’t yet, I don’t know your political or religious stance, but if it’s not against your beliefs, I would try planned parenthood or possibly a CVS/Walgreens clinic. They can’t do that much in prenatal care, but they can confirm your pregnancy and write you a note to send to doctors and work. When I first found out I was expecting in August of last year, I went to Planned Parenthood in Lakeland, and it was almost free even though my insurance was from a company owned by a Republican.
I see a midwife her name is Jill Young she works with Lakeland regional hospital though. I see her now with my second pregnancy. I never had to see my primary to confirm pregnancy. They just see me in the office and confirm it for me.
