Combo feeding?

How much are your 3 month olds drinking? I breastfeed at the moment and am considering combo feeding with formula before bed (but I haaaate pumping to keep my supply). What’s everyone doing?

Me too. I give one bottle of formula everyday for her to get used to it. Is your supply fluctuating too?

I combo feed. Just do the research into formulas and try to find some that are closer to breastmilk for the benefits and to make the transition to that early. I also don’t breastfeed I only bottle. So I only pump and formula feed my baby. That was a choice I made to make it easier for her to take the bottle. I’ve seen a lot of people struggle to get their baby to take a bottle if they have been solely fed from the boob

@Mira agreed my baby won’t take a bottle. I heard kendamill is good for breastfed babies . Formula tends to have a metallic taste because of the added iron but kendamil tastes similar to breastmilk. I tried to combo feed and pump but my baby didn’t want the bottle

@Nathalie I use byheart. It’s somehow cheaper by weight and I have it shipped to me monthly, than it is for me to buy whatever they sell in stores and it’s very close to breastmilk and is good quality stuff. I know some store carry it, but their site is cheaper and it’s autoship so I don’t even have to think about it which I love as well.
