Low-stimulating tv shows

Could anyone recommend shows on Netflix and Disney+ that are not overstimulating? My mum is about to start looking after my toddler so I wanted to give her a list of things that are better to watch rather than her just going for the brightest thing that stands out on Netflix/ Disney+. We don’t watch much kids TV but Bluey and Bear in the big blue house are the vibe I’m going for as she still focuses on her toys.

I'm not sure if they're on either of those platforms but tots TV, blues clues, pingu, raggy dolls, playbus. You'll likely find them on YouTube ☺️

Puffin rock on Netflix is lovely and calm, I like watching it together. There’s also trash truck, which my son likes, but I only tolerate because it’s not overstimulating. I think mrs Rachel is on Netflix now too. On Disney+ we watch the new adventures of Winnie the Pooh. The episodes are a little longer, but the old visuals are quite calm and the stories inoffensive. On Netflix you can block movies and series from showing up in a kids account. I have done this to make sure we can never watch peppa pig or cocomelon in this house.

Paddington is on Netflix And Kipper on YouTube Both very calm and not overstimulating

Curious George 🙊

@Anne oh I need to have a look at blocking peppa pig and cocomelon! I’m on the verge of stopping ms Rachel but she has her uses occasionally🤣

I've.made a YouTube kids account with programmes that me and my partner don't mind my son watching. I've put it on my mums TV, my partners mums TV, my phone and my partners phone then if anyone else looks after him I just give him the details for the account. At least this way I know it's something he likes and is used to. He absoloutly loves Daniel tigers neighbourhood at the moment. We have a mixture of programmes and singing channels. He used to like miss rachel but then became less and less interested so I took it off and put something else on to replace that.
