Rescheduling immunizations
Hi ladies today my lil man had his first injections and we were booked for his second dose although we can’t make it due to us traveling on that date so we had to reschedule.Is that safe?Is it ok?Asking cos I’m a first time mum and have no idea.

Yeah it’s fine - the only time constraint vaccine is the drops. They can only give the second dose of those before 24 weeks. They’ll just give the last dose 4 weeks after the second whenever he has them xx
They said it’s best to rebook for after the trip I just mentioned the trip.Its like 18 days after but they did his 1st immunizations one week late as well so not at 8 weeks but 9 weeks old
Yeah, mine had his at 9 and a half. They originally tried to book his first for when he’d be 14 weeks 🙄

Pretty sure it’s fine - if your GP is ok with it being rescheduled, then I wouldn’t worry. My baby is booked for 4 weeks and 4 days after his first, so it’s not like they’re strict on the spacing anyway. How long after the 4 weeks are they booked?
