I just had mine last week when I was 25 weeks. And now it'll be every 3 weeks she said. Until 34 weeks and then it'll be every 2 weeks until birth after that. X
You get more if it is your first baby. Just had my 25 week apt last week and my next is at 28 weeks.
My first baby. Had 1 face to face appointment right at thr start at 11 weeks and then 1 telephone appointment at I think 16 weeks. Messaged her last week for my Mat D1 form because work needs it and I haven't got a reply back in 1 week. So I just think they are pretty useless tbh x
@Jessica you get given your MAT1B form at your 25 week appointment (just received mine). Have heard some people say they were able to get it at their 20 week scan but this is trust dependant.
I don’t even have my midwife’s number I just always have to ring the GP and wait for a Tuesday as that is the only day she works, it’s frustrating because I just don’t see the point in the appointments as I’m not getting any but I think that is down to me not having regular appointments. A week after my 28 week appointment I have my glucose testing appointment but feel I’ll probably get 1 more appointment till birth from the looks of it. Definitely going to ring tomorrow and see if they can do anything!
@Louise thanks Louise I've actually got my 25 week appointment tomorrow so I'm going to ask her for it then. Work asked me for it about 10 days ago and said I can have it from 21 weeks thats why I messaged her to see if she could email it across. Its been a week with no reply but I'm not too worried because I'm seeing her tomorrow. But would also be nice if she would message back it isn't the first time I've got no response.x
This is my second baby and I also don’t have another appointment till 28 weeks. Seems to be the new norm in some areas/trusts that the 25 week appointment has been removed. Certainly does feel like a long time between appointments!
Have u been offered the 20 weeks anomaly scan?
I had my 20 week scan and they did all the measurements but now I just feel like I’m in limbo just always waiting on something to come through the post for a scan or midwife appointment
It’s always reassuring seeing the midwife or getting a scan but i promise u it’s good that u don’t have loads of appointments as that means there are no concerns! I had to have an extra scan because of a low placenta hormone and i wish it wasn’t the case. Thankfully all is well but my point is more appointments probably means more concerns! My last pregnancy i had appointments week 12,16,20,28 and then i cant remember the rest but not frequent at all. It’s standard.
You should be seen around 25 weeks?! My appointment is next week and I’m having my glucose test. Could you get in touch with your midwife and ask this perhaps?
