Potty training

I’m a first time mum, my little one has started telling us when he has done a poo, does this mean it’s time to start potty training? I honestly have no idea!

You could always try

You could try having the potty out where they can see it and see how they react. They're all different x

We’re in the same position, I’m gonna wait until it’s warmer. They say 3 days without anything on, 3 days with knickers on. By staying in the house 🥲

I’m a first time mum too so have no idea, but I have friends with kids and they didn’t start potty training until 2.5 / 3 years old. I don’t think there’s any rush and they’re all different. I’m certainly not going to worry about that until much further down the line. Maybe ask at nursery what they would recommend as they’ll know your child well and will be super experienced with all things nappy/potty related? Good luck either way! :)

There’s no set time to start, just start when you’re both ready. Him being able to tell you he’s done a poo will definitely make it easier!
