Newborn with constipation
I have a 5 day old, who hasn’t done a poo for 2 days. Seen the midwife today and they’re not worried about it. But just wondered if anyone had any ideas to help bring it on? As he seems uncomfortable with it. He’s having some expressed milk and formula!

I just added the water to the expressed breast milk in the bottle and she made a poo within an hour.
Also, it was fresh cooled down boiling water x
My 3 week old had this a few days ago, I just sat for 5/10mins on and off cycling his legs and moving them up to his tummy and round in circles. No word of a lie it came pouring out!!! Sounds gross but it completely cleared him out

Hey Harri, check with your midwife first but the advice given to us was to offer a bottle/syringe of 10ml of water - this seemed to do the trick for our 4 week old xx
