@Abi I don't understand why I've been given it 🤦🏻♀️ she can't have not realised it's second baby either because I had my son with me at the 16 weeks appt and she knew he was my son 🤣. I didn't realise until afterwards.
My next one is at 26 weeks
I have a 25 week app and didn’t even realise these were sometimes skipped for second pregnancies? I also had my toddler with me. Maybe depends on locations and different trusts/midwives rules?
😂😂 make the most of extra time to hear babies heart beat! I have bloods etc at 28w, maybe your midwife will do bloods at 25w too?
Pregnant with my first currently but thought this may be useful to add, My community midwife ( Wales ) said In passing that 25, now 26 weeks ( in wales) is when midwife’s can legally start measuring bump so may be because of that x
My midwife explained about second pregnancy and not needing as many appointments but gave me the option I have chosen 25 weeks just to follow up from another appointment I. Case I have questions
I have a 25 week one. No complications. I’m not complaining, I’ll get to hear heartbeat again. Surely more is better than not enough 🤷🏽♀️
Second baby here too, got a 25 week appt in Edinburgh but friends in Glasgow don't. Just a capacity and process thing in each NHS board.
I have a 25w appointment and it’s my second, but I do have low iron so possibly a chance to do another blood test to check it as it’s not been checked since 16 weeks

Thanks all! Not complaining, was just seeing what the general consensus was and if it was generally only offered because of complications I'd question it x
I know it’s different case as I’m only having. My first but was told my 25 week appointment will be hearing baby’s heart beat weighing me checking urine sample and collecting my mat B forms as I was told they are only aloud to be given at 25 weeks x

I have a 24 week appointment and is my second x
I’m having the same midwife appointments with my second, as I did my first pregnancy, but that’s because I am high risk. Otherwise I wouldn’t of seen her until 28 weeks 🙃
