Anyone potty training right now??

It’s been 8 days since we started and my girl is doing great with pee but having some serious fear of release with number ✌️ It’s physically and emotionally taxing. Anyone else dealing with an anxious pooper?

We're on the final stages of potty training (letting me know) and only had a few issues when she was slightly constipated. We get through the tough times with lots of praise and singing toddler tunes

Try letting her sit in the bathroom with you while you go “poop” and then when you’re about to go exaggerate your words and say wow mommy’s such a brave girl for going poop wooohooo! Can you give me a high five! Thanks! Let’s go get a piece of candy/came/treat because I’m so brave!! Then when she’s on the toilet remind her if she poops she can get a prize too! Tell her her favorite person (maybe Ms Rachel) uses the toilet and goes poopy! I wonder if she pushes like this and do a funny face! Try to make the mood encouraging & an option not a demand or it can give her more anxiety. Run the faucet or leave some sprinkles in the bathroom to sprinkle her poop with and call it a poop cake for the friendly sewer mouse !

we had issues with my toddler pooping as well. he would rather poop on the floor i just think they have to get used to pooping on the potty cause they are used to squatting or standing. after a few days of potty training my son started going on the potty/toilet. we tried not to force him to go and to let him know pooping on the floor isn’t okay and to poop on the potty. in due time she will get it

After a day where my son pooped in his pull-up 4 times 🫠 which was after he’d already been going in the potty for about a week. So needless to say I was frustrated. I straight up said I will give him a cookie if he poops on the potty. He’s been trained since. We are still in the accident stage. Twice since then he didn’t make it to the toilet until halfway through the pooping. I’m not proud of myself in that moment but at least it worked? 😂 and he still asks for a cookie sometimes which I sometimes give him if it’s not bedtime or right before dinner. Also I held his hands the first few times bc he was scared.
