I took my son when he was about that age and he LOVED it. I got so many photos and videos that he can look back on when he’s older and I loved the experience. We went in the summer and I would recommend the cooling pack inserts (specifically for toddlers) for the stroller. It was sooo hot and that was a love saver. Also, bring a big tote bag if you’re bringing a stroller so you can throw the loose items in it if you’re getting on the tram or a bus. It’ll make closing the stroller much easier.
We went with my son when he was...18 months? I think. Either way, you won't regret it. Those huge smiles of wonder are priceless! And you'll have fun too. Stroller is a must. I also had a baby leash in case he wanted to walk. He's not a kid who would run off, but those crowds can get thick so I wasn't taking risks. If you can, fast passes are super helpful. We only did rides with fast passes, we didn't wait in any lines.
I just went last week with my almost 15 month old and you won’t regret it. It really just depends on how your little one is because everyone’s different, we got a two park pass in one day to animal kingdom and magic kingdom which I think we should’ve just stuck with magic kingdom. There were so many people I don’t think he could really take a second to see and enjoy all of the animals but the rides at magic kingdom he loved. Plus all the baby rides normally don’t have longer than 15 minutes lines. The only issue we had was he lost two pacifiers so for sure bring a pacifier clip if needed. We also packed a lunch we knew he would eat. A stroller for sure (just be sure to check your stroller on the website to see if it matches requirements), and just be mindful of nap time (again every toddler is different) and also their signs of when they’re ready to leave. It took us almost an hour to get back to our car and he had a breakdown lol. Hope this somewhat helped and have a great trip!!
